Don't miss our 4th annual "All They Need is Love" benefit concert for animal rescue to be held on Friday, October 5, 2007. This year the concert will be held at PJ Kelly's Pub located in the Peekskill Train Station in Peekskill, NY. Tickets are $20 so come out for a night of great food, great music, great prizes and great fun...all for a worthy cause. Join our "Cartridges for Critters" recycling program!
It's Reigning Cats and Dogs participates in a unique fundraising program where for every printer cartridge, cell phone, laptop computer, or PDA we recycle, WE EARN MONEY. We have many friends and family doing their part, but the more we recycle, the more money we earn for the animals, SO WE NEED YOUR HELP...you can recycle from home or get your coworkers involved. The program is so easy AND IS NO COST TO YOU IN ANY WAY. Here is how it works - you can set up a collection box and once it is full, you simply call us and we will come get the box or we can simply send you a Fedex shipping label, you slap it on, call Fedex and they come pick the box up...from home or work or wherever. Jengo came into our lives in September of 2005. Rescued by a kind person in North Carolina, he managed to make his way to New York through a network of friends. Once here, we knew he was something special. He immediately got along with our dog and for some reason, had absolutely no problem with our cats. Because of a genetic defect, Jengo's eye had to be removed, but that doesn't stop him from spotting a treat or a toy. He has become one of our mascots and thank goodness he was around for this year's kitten season because he sure does love to act as a surrogate "mamacat" to our many kittens - he grooms them and plays with them and most importantly he loves them as if they were his own.
